Andreea Poenaru is specialized in the field of banking & finance. During her previous assignments Mrs. Poenaru has gained an extensive expertise in various legal aspects of real estate finance, corporate finance, securitization, structured finance in the Romanian and international legal environment. The time spent in the London investment banking industry, in its capacity as FSA approved investment banker has enabled Mrs Poenaru to gain a deep understanding of the commercial aspects of real estate financing and securitization transactions.

Representative transactions include: structuring and advising a highly reputable investment bank on various legal aspects concerning securitization of cross-border originated loans; assisting and negotiating with rating agencies various legal and commercial aspects involved in the securitization process on behalf of the leading CMBS issuer on the London market in relation to their securitization vehicle; advising and facilitating successful closing of lending transactions on German market for one of the leading London investment banks e.g. financing EUR 360 million for the sell and lease-back of the real estate assets of one of the major telecommunication provider on the German market; refinancing EUR 135 million for a five stars leading hotel in Berlin; and advising and structuring a real estate financing project for the refinancing of one of the most representative class A office building in Bucharest amounting to EUR 70 million. The financing bank, whom we assisted, is one of the biggest German investment bank breaking through on the Romanian financing market. Successfully closed, the transaction has been quoted as the biggest real estate financing project of its kind for the year 2007.
