• Assisting, in collaboration with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, a club of banks led by Erste Bank with the provision of a EUR 500 mil corporate financing facility to Petrom SA (the biggest financing on the market in Romania, 2009).

• Acting as counsel to Billa Romania (part of REWE Group) regarding the leasing and acquisition of properties in several Romanian cities, in the process of extending its supermarket chain. The value of the transaction is confidential.

• Assisting CFO Integrator in obtaining a financing facility in excess of EUR 6 mil for the development of a metropolitan underground fibre optics network development project in the city of Cluj – Napoca (DuctCity).

• Assisting, in collaboration with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, a club of banks led by UniCredit Bank Austria regarding the modification of a facility credit of EUR 375 mil to Petrom SA.

• Acting, in collaboration with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, as counsel to Unicredit Bank Austria with regard to the arrangement by Unicredit Bank Austria of a syndicated secured corporate credit facility in the amount of over EUR 200 mil, to Alpine Group.

• Providing legal assistance to the Bulgarian Group Eurohold for the purpose of authorizing by the Competition Council of the economic concentration created by the potential purchase by Eurohold of the automobile dealer activity of IPSO S.R.L. (Romanian dealer for Renault, Nissan and Dacia). The value of the transaction is confidential.

• Assisting Bluehouse Capital (Greece) – investment fund and developer – on (i) acquisition, related financing and subsequent sale of five pre-leased office buildings in various locations in Romania, (ii) acquisition and development of two properties for office projects in the centre of Bucharest, (iii) acquisition of a property in Bucharest for a mixed-use project, (iv) acquisition and disposal of land near Bucharest for industrial park projects and (v) launching of IPO on London market (aggregate transaction value in excess of EUR 100 mil.).

• Acting as counsel to Investkredit Bank AG regarding a 15 Mil. EUR financing granted to Baumit Romania Com SRL for the purpose of establishing a working plant in Bolintin Deal, Giurgiu.

• Acting as counsel to Soravia Group in the renting out process of one of its office and retail centre „Metropolis Center”.

• Assisting Immoeast in the acquisition and development of properties located in various Romanian cities, with a project value of approx. EUR 250 mil.

• Counselling and assisting Emerson Corp. (U.S. multinational company) on the establishment and development of a Greenfield investment (PPP industrial park) in North Western part of Romania (project value in excess of EUR 300 mil), on the establishment and development of a Greenfield investment (electric motors plant) in southern part of Romania (near Pitești) and on other projects.

• Counselling E.ON Group, energy sector, on the sale of one of its Romanian affiliates.

• Assisting and representing Prowind GmbH (Germany), energy sector, on establishment and development of a Greenfield investment - implementation of a wind park in Romania and compliance with the regulatory matters related to the implementation and operation of such a wind park, as well as on the development of various PPP projects concerning wind power energy in Romania.

• Assisting Lürssen Shipyards on implementing the public-private partnership exit strategy regarding a military naval shipyard in Romania. The value of the transaction is confidential.

• Assisting Skipper Capital (Spanish private equity fund) on the financing of acquisition of properties and development of residential projects in Romania.

• Providing legal assistance to Polski Bank Komórek Macierzystych S.A. for the purpose of purchasing a part of the interests held by a group of natural persons in Biogenis S.R.L. The value of the transaction is confidential.

• Assisting Holcim S.A. (cement industry) on privatization and acquisition of several cement and ready-mixed plants and their subsequent merger, including regulatory issues with the authorities competent in the field.

• Assisting Ixis (France) on the acquisition of America House, one of the largest office buildings in midtown Bucharest, with a value of over EUR 120 mil.

• Assisting Long Bridge International – developer and private equity fund – on the development of the first residential project in the city of Cluj-Napoca, in the North Western part of Romania.

• Assisting E&T Energie Handelsgesellschaft m.b.H., energy sector, on (i) the purchase of an energy trade company and on monitoring and ensuring regulatory compliance of such energy trading company and (ii) on Greenfield investments and on the authorization procedure for obtaining energy trading license, as well as monitoring and ensuring regulatory compliance and connected regulatory permits and authorizations.
